A few words about Aude :
Aude, originally from Lorient in Brittany, has always loved ships and the ocean. Her parents have been taking her sailing from a very early age. On the water, she feels truly alive, both anchored in her body and in harmony with her surroundings.
When Aude discovered yoga in 2012, she realized it was a way to enjoy physical efforts as well as reaching an inner peace. Rocked by Brittany's waves, her homeland, she found in yoga the same sensations as in sea crossing. Ever since then, to her, yoga has been referring to travel. This practice made her find her own energy and essence, as well as the other's, through her travels around the world in places such as in Mallorca and Bali, where she expanded her knowledge about the different types of yoga, their history and their philosophy.
She practices a lot, especially with yoga experts. She started with traditional forms of yoga (Hatha, Ashtanga) and broadened later with more modern types such as Bikram, Yin and aerial Yoga, and Vinyasa.

Yoga and sailing blend perfectly, offering a deep connection to yourself and to the nature, while developing presence, concentration and balance. Together, yoga and sailing favor overall well-being by reducing stress, strengthening the body and creating a true harmony between the body, the mind and the surroundings.
Hatha and Yin yoga are particularly adapted to a yoga-sailing retreat. Open to everybody and for all levels, these practices emphasize long-held postures and calm breathing. On unstable surfaces (on the sand, on a pontoon), they allow you to work on your balance and concentration. Both Hatha and Yin favor a deep connection to the body and breathing. In a natural setting - ocean waves, wind, light - these practices invite you to experience an intense meditation, in perfect harmony with the environment.
