A unique meditation retreat
In an inspiring, eco-responsible setting and inspiring setting, our zero-waste gite, this carefully renovated former farmhouse offers a total immersion in yogic living. Here, everyone participates in the daily chores, fostering a harmonious and egalitarian community.
You can perfect your yoga and meditation with at least 4 hours of practice a day.
You'll also have the chance to immerse yourself in nature to recharge your batteries.
Our shared rooms in small gites for 4 to 8 people offer comfort and conviviality, with a fully-equipped kitchen in each gite.
Jeanne, running the gite, is a lady of great values, practising zero waste and using local produce for fresh, vegetarian meals, adapted to body balance and yoga practices.
Kudalini yoga is suitable for all levels. It's a simple yoga that encourages you to listen to your body and its limits. It is suitable for beginners and advanced practitioners alike, whatever their physical condition or age.
For this course, where we'll be practising more intensely, it's best if you already have some experience of yoga practice.
To sum up: this course is open to anyone who is able to practise yoga for several hours a day.

Detailed program
DAY 1 - Gite discovery and first yoga session
We arrive at the gite at around 3pm. We'll take our places in the rooms, have a look around, take our first dip in the forest, and then meet up for a welcome drink on the gîte's shady terrace.
We'll then move into the practice room for a talking circle followed by our first yoga class, a kind of warm-up for the rest of the week.
5.00 pm - 6.30 pm: Kundalini yoga workshop
Pranayamas - The 10 energy bodies. Yogis have developed a real science of breathing. Using these techniques, they regulate the flow of their inner energies, enabling them to channel their thoughts and emotions. Let's take a closer look at these ancient practices.

DAY 2 - the science of vibration
7h30-9h Réveil yogique + méditation d’alignement pour la journée
9h-10h Petit déjeuner - Temps de Seva
10h-13h Marche en nature dans cet environnement sublime aux alentours du gîte. Petits ateliers de connexion à soi et à la nature.
13-14h Repas
14h-17h Temps pour soi (détente / piscine / possibilité de massage sur demande)
17h-18h30 Atelier de kundalini yoga - Le rebirthing pour nettoyer le subconscient.
La pratique du rebirthing permet de déloger en nous les histoires et les blocages, qui nous font stagner, et revivre les mêmes schémas et traumatismes. Il en résulte un sentiment de renouveau et de renaissance à soi. Ces pratiques utilisent les vibrations du gong.
Puis, le repas sera servi à 19h, et la soirée est libre pour profiter du cadre enchanteur du gîte.

DAY 3 - Mind and meditation
7.30am-9am: Yogic wake-up call + alignment meditation for the day
9am-10am: Breakfast - Seva time
10am-1pm: Nature walk in the sublime surroundings of the gîte. Small workshops on connecting to yourself and to nature.
13-14h: Meal
2pm-5pm: Time for yourself (relaxation / swimming pool / massage on request)
5pm-6.30pm: Kundalini yoga workshop: Meditation as a source of transformation.
Today we'll be looking at how our thoughts and minds work. We'll see how our preconceived ideas impact our behaviour and our reality, and how different types of meditation can be a remedy for the automatisms that limit our lives and our energy.

DAY 4 - Yoga session and end of the course
As we near the end of the course, we'll have a final yoga session (8-9.30am), followed by brunch together.
Then it's time to pack up and take some final time to enjoy the place and the people. The meditation retreat ends at around 12 pm.
PS: The program and timetable may be adapted according to the needs of the group or unforeseen external factors such as weather conditions.

Meet at the gite at 3pm on the first day of the course, finishing around 12pm on day 4.
How do I get to this meditation retreat in France ?
- By car, there is a car park as far as the gîte. Approximately 1 hour's drive from Valence, 50 minutes from Montélimar.
- Carpooling with other participants
- By train: Montélimar TGV station, we can organise a pick-up from the station to the gite.
