What does Vawanda provide ?

Vawanda provides group weekends and long stays for private individuals, all focused on personal development, with gentle activites like Yoga, Pilates, sailboat, dance and many others, but also company offers (well-being team building activites, team cohesion seminars, incentive trips, work councils offers…).

Is it possible to book a Yoga retreat with little experience ?

Most of our stays are accessible for all levels, from beginner to advanced.

How can I know if my stay is confirmed ?

A stay is confirmed when the required number of participants is reached. We inform the registered participants as soon as the stay is confirmed via mail, and the “confirmed” mention appears on the website.

What happens if a stay isn't confirmed ?

The potential registered participants will be notified and we will cancel their bookings. If a deposit has already been cashed, it will be reimbursed.

Is the transportation included in my stay ?

No, but we can buy it for you if needed, with variable agency fees from one stay to the other.

Is it necessary to buy activities equipment if I don't have it for the stay ?

It depends on the program and the activities. For the Yoga retreats, there usualy are yoga mats on site.

Can I book my transportation after having confirmed my booking ?

According to the transportation means : if trains yes, if planes you have to wait until the stay is confirmed.

Does my stay participation validation occur right after my booking ?

Yes

Which payment means are accepted by Vawanda ?

Credit card, checks, holliday vouchers and cash

Can I pay my well-being stay in installments ?

Yes, between 2 and 3 installments according to the total sum.

When will my bank account be charged?

The credit card will be charged only if the client asks for it to be.

Can I ask for a stay option if I'm not sure to be free?

No, it is not possible to ask for stay options.

How can I check if my booking was correctly registerd?

After each booking, customers receive an automatic confirmation email.

Can I book a Yoga retreat as a minor ?

According to the age and the type of retreat, minors can participate but the booking must be made by a parent or a tutor.

Is it possible to book for a group of people ?

Yes, we can also organise tailored stays.

How to book a well-being stay ?

To book a weel-being stay, click on the button “Book” on the chosen stay’s page.

How can I privatize an experience ?

Yes, if you are a large enough group

Is it possible to take into consideration my specific diet during the booking ?

What is Vawanda's cancellation policy after buying a stay ?

The Vawanda agency keeps a part of the amount paid according to the cancellation date or modification date : between 60 and 30 days before the stay : 30% of the total amount will be kept, between 30 and 14 days before the stay : 50% of the total amount will be kept, between 13 days before the stay and the departure day : 100% of the total amount will be kept.

In case of a stay cancellation, is there a refund ?

If the stay is cancelled by the agency, the total amount will be refunded.

Can I cancel my booking ?

Yes, until 2 months before the booked stay’s date. After this date, The Vawanda agency keeps a part of the amount paid according to the cancellation date or modification date : between 60 and 30 days before the stay : 30% of the total amount will be kept, between 30 and 14 days before the stay : 50% of the total amount will be kept, between 13 days before the stay and the departure day : 100% of the total amount will be kept.

How can I subsribe a cancellation insurance?

You can select the cancellation insurance during the stay’s booking. If you want to subscribe the insurance after having booked your stay, please contact us.

How to use your cancellation insurance if needed?

For any insurance claim or any other reason that prevents you from participating to a stay, please contact us so that we can send you the form to fill in.

INSURANCE

In case of an accident or disease preventing you from participating, your stay will be fully refunded, only if you have subscribed a cancellation insurance.

When do I have to subscribe a cancellation insurance ?

During the booking

Which insurance should I choose ?

The cancellation insurance allows you to cancel your participation in case of a real and serious impediment. The multirisk insurance allows you to cancel your participation before the stay, it also allows you to be repatriated and to have a full refund of all the costs incurred in the event of an issue during the stay

How can I use the Vawanda well-being gift card?

The Vawanda gift card can be used to pay for a stay during the booking.

How can I offer a gift card ?

A gift card can be bought the same way a stay can be booked, after having selected the desired amount.

How long is my gift card valid?

18 months, starting from the date were it was bought

Can we benefit a punctual workshop or actvity?

Yes

Is it possible to program a series of experiences in the long term or at a certain frequency ?

Yes

Where do the companies' dedicated Vawanda experiences occur? Can it be in our premises?

The experiences can occur in the places chosen by the companies as well as on their premises if they are adapted.

How many participant can benefit the experience ? Is there a limited number of participants?
