Treat yourself to an inspiring break with our yoga retreat in Glasgow, a unique experience that combines yoga practice, English immersion, and cultural discovery in one of Scotland's most vibrant cities.

Each morning, you'll begin with a Vinyasa yoga session in a peaceful setting, followed by a convivial breakfast. Practical and accessible English language workshops will then punctuate the morning to strengthen your speaking skills in a fun way.

Afternoons are free to explore the city, relax, or take on small English challenges through activities designed to be practiced in real life. At the end of the day, relax with a Yin yoga session followed by a shared dinner at the hotel or in town.

This yoga and English retreat in Glasgow is for anyone looking to improve their English, deepen their yoga practice, and experience a moment of reconnection in an exotic setting. Excursions, free time, shared moments, and a warm atmosphere combine to create a restorative, balanced, and vibrant stay.

Detailed program

Day 1 - Arrival at Glasgow

🏨 from 4:00 p.m : Arrival of the participants and installation at the hotel

🍻 6:30 p.m.: Welcome drink in the beer garden, a friendly moment to get to know each other and set the intention for the stay

Days 2 to 4 – Daily Routine & Immersion

🧘 7:30 a.m - Vinyasa Yoga at the Wee Retreat Center, a morning practice to awaken the body and mind
🍽️ 9:00 a.m - Breakfast at the hotel (quick and efficient to get you started without stress) 🗣️ 10:00 AM - English workshop (2 hours), oral practice, role-playing, and everyday vocabulary
🌆 12:00 p.m - Free time in Glasgow

🎯 English challenges to complete alone or in small groups, to practice in real-life situations

💬 5:00 p.m - collective debrief at the Wee Retreat Center, exchanges, feedbacks,
🌙 6:00 p.m- Yin Yoga, gentle recovery, calm healing
🍴 7:00 p.m - Free dinner, at the hotel to rest, or in town for the curious ones.

 

Workshops

📍 Day 2

Theme: Finding your way and asking for help
Challenge: Explore Glasgow without a GPS, using a map, a list of places, and key phrases

 

🗨️ Day 3

Theme: Small talk & spontaneous conversations Challenge: Start a conversation with an English speaker in public, ask them for an anecdote or a local expression (🏰 Optional afternoon outing to Stirling Castle)

 

🎭 Day 4

Theme: Culture & Local Heritage
Challenge: Active listening during a distillery tour – note down expressions, idioms, and impressions
🌿 Option: Nature day at Loch Lomond (train to Luss, 1 to 3 hours of hiking depending on your interests)

 

Day 5 - End of the stay

The program is subject to change. With the agreement of the group and the instructor, classes may be slightly adapted to accommodate as many participants as possible (session times, programs, etc.).

From Paris (Orly or CDG)Glasgow International Airport (GLA)

  • ✈️ Directs flights operated regularly by easyJet, Air France or Ryanair (the flight is almost 1h45 )

  • 🚌 From the airport, you can join the city center by :

    • Bus express 500 (15–20 min, around £10)

    • Taxi (20–25 min, around £25–30)

    • Train (from Paisley Gilmour Street, if you prefer to walk a little or take the local bus)

🚄 By train

From Paris Gare du Nord → Londres St Pancras

  • 🕐 Eurostar : 2h15
    Then, Londres Euston → Glasgow Central Station

  • 🚆Direct train (Virgin/Avanti West Coast) : almost 4h30–5h

🚗 By car

  • 🚘 From Paris : about 11–12h drive

  • 🚢 You will have to cross the Channel by ferry (Calais – Dover), then continue by motorway to Glasgow
