A successful writing training course

This year, we offer the same theme of correspondence, but it's you who will write and correspond !

Aude will invite you to enjoy the pleasure of writing during these five days in a workshop held in a beautiful house surrounded by lavender and the songs of cicadas. This personal development workshop will focus on correspondence, offering a unique way to create your own festival, with a reading session at the end of the journey.

She describes it best herself:

"I invite you to play with the theme of correspondence and the correspondent—the person who brings news from a distant land, the pen-pal to whom you confide, the counterpart or equivalent through whom you encounter your otherness, who listens and reads you, revealing yourself by offering their intimacy.

I also invite you to play with the 'responding body,' your own, the body that expresses itself, engages in dialogue, and takes you to a fantastical and sometimes symbolic world.

You can write the letter you never sent, write to the hero you are or the one who inspired your dreams. You can engage in dialogue with your body in whole or in part, write lovingly, or share news from forgotten territories. Most importantly, throughout our stay, you'll experience a unique and surprising epistolary exchange with a dedicated correspondent.

As in any writing workshop, you will have sources of inspiration, dedicated writing times, and reading sessions. The body will also play a role, as I will occasionally invite you to stage it, to showcase your readings and creations as authors and actors do during the festival." Natacha.

Location:

You will be welcomed into a magnificent 18th-century farmhouse near Grignan in Drôme Provençale. This farmhouse is surrounded by a two-hectare property with lavender fields and truffle oaks. It features beautiful rooms, common areas, a large pool, an activity room, and magnificent gardens, providing an ideal environment for writing and relaxation at the heart of the Grignan region.

Known for its truffles and AOC wines, Drôme Provençale is dotted with historic hilltop villages and boasts a rich heritage to explore. In your free time, venture through the fields and picturesque villages of the region, or even participate in the July 14th festivities.

The program includes a visit to Grignan Castle, a dinner, and a performance.
