Immerse yourself in a unique experience combining creativity and serenity during our august painting workshop. In an inspiring and soothing setting, let your imagination run wild and explore different artistic techniques, guided by Bernadette, a passionate artist.
She will accompany you individually through guided exercises and with personal practice times, she will orchestrate day after day a progression of the main notions of drawing and painting through your own project, in order to develop your subjects and your practice.
Whether you're a beginner or an experienced practitioner, this retreat invites you to slow down, reconnect with your inner self, and freely express your creativity. Each day will be punctuated by moments of painting, relaxation, and sharing, allowing for total immersion in the present moment.

The concepts covered during the painting course
Each day, Bernadette will offer you a painting workshop on a different theme. Below, you'll find all the concepts you'll have the opportunity to discover during this painting workshop:
- Drawing or painting? Line or material… I can’t decide! (choose/affirm your style, your subject, your technique)
- color and black and white… in harmony! (values, colors and contrasts)
- composition and rhythm, or how to organize the elements of one's composition, choose a narrative angle and guide the eye through the work
- dare to be more imaginative and fanciful… how far will I go!?
Domaine d'Orion as a haven of peace
Domaine d'Orion is located in the heart of the Gers countryside, on the Way of St. James. This unique site spans 40 hectares of parkland, meadows, lakes, gardens, and organic crops, providing an ideal setting to unleash your creative spirit and enjoy a relaxing space.
The fruit of the passion of a lover of old stones, the estate combines old-world charm with modern comfort after a dozen years of construction. It offers numerous bright and comfortable rooms, each equipped with a lounge area, a mezzanine office, a private bathroom, and high-end bedding.
Domaine d'Orion also has a wellness area entirely dedicated to relaxation, including a heated indoor pool, an infrared sauna, a traditional sauna, a hammam and three treatment rooms.
Outside, a large natural swimming pool equipped with sun loungers and parasols, an amphitheater that can accommodate more than 150 people, a shaded terrace offering a panoramic view of the Gers landscapes and several lakes in a wooded park complete the facilities.
Detailed program
Day 1 :
- 🛄 Arrival in the afternoon and installation
- 🖌️ 6 p.m.: presentation of the project and everyone's intentions, presentation of the organization of the internship
- 🍽️ 8 p.m.: group dinner
a tipical day :
- 🥐 8:30 a.m : Breakfast
- 🎨 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.: thematic workshop
- 🥗 1:00 p.m : Lunch
- 👩🎨 2:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.: sketching at Domaine d'Orion or outdoors
- 🍃 5:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.: Free time to explore the surroundings or enjoy the swimming pool
- 🍽️ 8 p.m.: group dinner
Day 8 :
- 🥐 8:30 a.m : Breakfast
- 🚗 10:00 a.m.: departure to Agen station

Accessibility of the Domaine d'Orion
Domaine d'Orion is located just 35 minutes from Agen TGV station and 1 hour 15 minutes from Toulouse airport.
By train from Paris (recommended route):
- Direct TGV from Paris Montparnasse to Agen (approximately 3 hours 15 minutes journey).
From Agen, it's a 35-minute drive to the estate. Depending on your arrival time, we can book a group taxi or finish the journey by carpooling.
By car :
From Paris, take the A10 motorway towards Bordeaux, then the A62 towards Toulouse. Exit at Agen (exit 7) and follow the signs for Condom, then Gondrin. The estate is located a few minutes from the village. The journey takes 7 hours from Paris.
The price of the painting course
This painting retreat offers early bird rates, valid up to two months before the start date. After that, standard rates will apply.
Tarifs Early Bird :

- 1 650 € in an individual room
Standard rates :
- 1 450 € in a shared double room
- 1 795 € in an individual room
