Alvina

Alvina, a gentle approach of Hatha Yoga, respectful of the body.
Alvina Morice

I am Alvina and I discovered Yoga in 2017 in Rennes, my hometown, after traveling all around the world for a year. In February 2022, I was trained for 200h in India. Ever since then, I have been teaching in various places and companies, as well as in schools to children. I pursued my career with specific training programs (80h in advance, 25h in flexibility and ajusting). I was also trained in head and face massage, and in Californian and Swedish massage.

I teach Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga and offer sound journeys. Furthermore, I co-organize retreats in India and Morocco.

During my classes, I might adjust you to help you fully enjoy the benefits of each posture.

HATHA YOGA :

Hatha yoga, accessible to all levels, is the most traditional and popular type of yoga in the West. It is a gentle practice, in which we control the breath in order to listen to our sensations, our body and our breathing. It strengthens the muscles, tones the whole body, reduces stress, favors sleep and harmonizes the energies of the body and the mind. With gentleness and goodwill, I will guide you through a series of postures, breathing and relaxations.

YIN YOGA AND SOUND JOURNEY :

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced practice that promotes relaxation and releasing of the muscles' tension by remaining still in each posture for 3 to 7 minutes. This practice helps quiet the mind, release mental stress and easily reach a state of deep meditation. As a result, this type of yoga is perfect for reducing stress and finding again a sense of calm. At the same time, let your mind travel through the sounds of various instruments, most of them originating from India. Sound baths, an ancestral practice from East Asia, will guide your body and mind into a deep relaxation state through sound vibrations and harmonies. The body and the mind are literally bathed in vibrations and sounds through different instruments such as Tibetan bowls, tongue drums, koshis and many more.
